Service Description
This course is for you if: -You understand the basics but want to sew with more confidence and consistency • You’re ready to follow patterns and create wearable or functional pieces • You want to refine your technique while developing your personal style • You enjoy learning through thoughtfully designed projects Completion of Foundations or equivalent experience recommended. Course Description Sewing Studio I expands technical knowledge while encouraging independence and creative decision-making. Students begin working with patterns, explore garment-adjacent construction, and refine their finishing techniques. Projects are designed to feel polished, wearable, and purposeful—bridging the fundamentals of garment sewing. Learning Outcomes By the end of this course, students will: -Read and follow sewing patterns with confidence -Construct garments using elastic, facings, and hems -Install a basic zipper -Select appropriate fabrics for structure and drape -Apply clean, consistent finishing techniques 4-Week Project Alignment -Week 1: Pattern reading, fabric selection, prep & cutting -Week 2: Elastic-Waist Shorts or Skirt -Week 3: Structured Zip Pouch or Clutch -Week 4: Apron, Smock, or Boxy Sleeveless Top

Cancellation Policy – Sewing Workshops & Classes All registrations for sewing workshops and classes are considered final. Due to the nature of our small-group programming and limited class sizes, we are unable to offer refunds, credits, or transfers to another person once a booking is confirmed. In the rare case that a class or workshop must be cancelled by The Style Concept due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, low enrollment, or facility issues), participants will be notified promptly and offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as this policy helps us maintain the quality and consistency of our sewing programs.
